1.) The parking garage is public meaning anyone who can afford a $200.00 per month parking spot has access to your building 24/7.

2.) The building security is close to nonexistent and residents buzz anyone and everyone up and the security staff sleeps most of the weekend (see other posts as well on this matter)

3.) The building is a party spot for students and younger professionals so the pool is often packed with disorderly people who tend to vandalize during the holidays.

4.) The police have been called out to the building more frequently.

5.) The staff is abused by the residents so they tend to have an aversion towards all residents which is a reasonable reaction. If I had to deal with the childish, spoiled, and rude students I would be the same way. Its just something that the more mature residents should not have to deal with.

6.) There is a lot of prostitution associated with the building and it goes in many cases hand in hand with the partying.

7.) Almost any resident I talked to that has been here for more than a few years simply stay because of the location.

The City Vista apartments and now Ashton JS offer much more. If you re on a budget look at City Vista and if you can afford to pay a little more look at Ashton Judiciary Square. Our lease is ending and we are going to City Vista because we can t afford Ashton Judiciary Square. Ashton Judiciary Square has the best security out of all of them as City Vista does have public parking due to the Safeway. City Vista however has more cameras in better places than Mass Court and tighter restrictions on access to the building itself.
