Having moved in with my partner I have found the complex less than desirable and not a place I would have chosen on my own. The apartment has very basic appliances,(unless I hand wash my dishes before putting them in the dish washer, they don't come clean) Sun room sliding doors do not close properly, kitchen cabinets are falling apart, and street noise coming through the bathroom vent is disruptive at best. The constant roar of air being sucked out the 1-1/2" space under the hall door is load and suck out all of my heat. Location of the HVAC unit makes is impossible to use the living room while it is running(high noise level). Water heater is located on the oposite end of the apartment from where the need is (i.e. bathroom and kitchen) which means a huge waste of water to shower and wash dishes(waiting for water to get warm) this adds to the cost of the water and electric bill. Parking is over sold. Even though you pay a high price for a space you are not promised a space and with such small spaces, a large number of tenants park in two spaces or take handicap spaces. Management is unresponsive to the parking concerns and the general attitude of the managment is if you don't like it move. I will be very soon. If you liked living in a college dorm then you'll love this place. Rude, selfish, and self important tenants round out the complex. The building is supposed to be secure but things are so lax that there have been several "invasion" by persons not belonging in the building in the 14 months that I've been here. Just a note too I was one of the first ones to move into the building and the first in my apartment.

You hit the nail on the head. Why are there no glowing rebuttles to this review. Could it be that all of the issues brought up here are true. Make sure you check all of these things before you rent here. Make the management turn on the AC/Heat so that you can hear for yourself the amount of noise is creates. Have them show you where the water heater is in relation to the bath and kitchen. Turn on the water and see how long it takes for it to come up to temperature. Take note of how long it takes and how much water you wasted down the drian before it got warm, and remember that much water has to be heated all over again only to be wasted time and time again. Have a friend stand outside in the hall and talk in at a normal level and notice how much of it you can hear inside your apartment. Take a walk through the parking garage at the tiem of day in which you'll be parking and notice the number of empty spaces that you'll be able to park in. Try following someone in through any door and see how easy it is to have access even though you are not yet a tenant. I often find the lobby doors in the garage proped open, and before 10pm you will have full access to any part of the building. So much for security. This place sucks. I can't wait until my lease is up and I can move out.

Apparently I've got a great apt-we normally run our AC/heat a lot and haven't had a problem with hearing the tv or each other over it-perhaps we just have a good unit. We only really shut our sunroom doors when guests are staying here but haven't ever had a problem with it. Our kitchen cabinets are fine-nothing breaking down. Our dishwasher isn't great, I will admit-every dishwasher I've had in every house and apt. my entire life has been like that-I long for a brand-new industrial-strength dishwasher bec. that is annoying. We don't pay for parking and haven't had a problem with ever finding a spot, though I heard there were problems before we moved in with people parking in reserved spots who didn't pay for it. I've never seen the doors propped open in the garage. I never hear people in the hall except once in awhile late at night on a Friday or Saturday when people have clearly been out drinking and are coming home. Haven't had a problem with security. Have noticed it takes water a long time to warm up-I think I luck out bec. my husband showers first so normally it's already warmed up.
