I've been happy with everything here. Staff members are friendly, whether they be at the concierge desk, at the front door, or replacing burnt out lightbulbs in your apartment. It is easy to submit maintenance requests, and the response time is pretty quick.
I was the first to live in my apartment, and everything is still looking pretty good. No appliance breakdowns or leaks or anything. The apartments get plenty of light and have great closet space and a ton of outlets in the kitchen, which is fantastic.
The building is kept up - it's not uncommon to see people touching up paint in the hallways or polishing the shiny elevator doors.
The rooftop pool is great in the summer, and is kept clean. Ther are also two rooftop deck areas that come in handy for cooking out. The exercise room can't substitute for a gym membership, but there's plenty of stuff to get in a decent workout - treadmills, ellipticals, bikes, free weights, and a collection of weight machines that get the job done.
The area is not the best (it is downtown DC afterall), but it is improving all the time, and I feel completely secure in the building itself.
Overall, I've been very happy living here.
