I just moved out at the end of May and was glad to make a change. It wasn't a terrible experience, but I just got so sick of the Meridian management screwing us over at every turn! One of my friends lives in the building still and just told me that the Meridian imposed new rules for the pool. By the way, if you are thinking the pool is a great amenity, get ready! The pool is only open for summer (so those hot times in May and September are a no-can-do) and only during daytime hours when there is a lifeguard on duty (so professionals who work all day--good luck!). Maybe if they paid more for insurance we could go swimming when we want (like you can over at Mass Court!).
Now, for some ridiculous reason, they want residents to register to use the pool (um, do they NOT know who is living in the building to begin with'). Also, now if you want to bring guests to the pool, you have to PAY $10 for the privilege. I'm sorry, I thought it was a luxury apartment building- which means that one supposedly shouldn't have to pay for the privilege of using the tiny pool on the roof! The management are cheap bastards who don't give a ---- about the residents. If you rent here, be warned.
