It's hard to know where to start. Management's attitude is that they are doing you a favor by allowing you to pay them the ridiculously high rental price they charge to live here. Perhaps they feel as though they can get away with that attitude because of the relatively young age demographic of the building. Everything is a hassle to get done and management staff take a defensive posture towards every question or complaint.
The maintenance in the building is also unacceptable. The trash chute is regularly blocked up, and the walls of the hallways are badly scuffed, making this quite new building already begin to feel run down.
The advertized amenity of the pool is suddenly something you have to register for, and previously free guest privileges now require a $10 fee. In a building that already costs more than it should, this seems ridiculous.
