Renter for a Year -- Terrible Staff!

This place has the worst staff that I have ever encountered. Let me back up--the location is fantastic. It is within a block of the metro, several restaurant establishments, banks, and the Georgetown Law Center. The Meridian has pretty good accommodations--indoor gym is good, many functioning elevators, janitorial staff is very kind and helpful. However, the location and luxuries cannot make up for the crack staff. Friendliness is not necessarily an issue. I don't care if someone says hello to me when I enter the premises or even holds the door for me. What I DO care about is whether I receive proper notice of rent, utilities payments, problems with my lease, automatic renewal, etc. Not only is the Meridian staff very poor at communicating with the tenants, they are incompetent. If you want a different answer to a question you have asked, simply wait five minutes and ask the next staff member you encounter. There is no cohesiveness with the staff. Warning to anyone who is desperate/courageous enough to rent here: know your contract, because the staff cannot give you the correct answer. You will not receive an appropriate answer to your question until the appropriate time-periods have expired, and there is nothing you, as a tenant, can do to rectify the situation.
I do NOT recommend the Meridian at Gallery Place to anyone, and I will be high-tailing it out of here as soon as my lease runs out!
