I am a professional, over the age of 30. I have lived on the premises for more than 3 years. It is true, the management DOES NOT care about the residents. I have witnessed a lot of things and this space is not long enough to list them all. If you are not a professional, I would not recommend living here.
1. GEORGETOWN LAW STUDENTS. This "luxury" apartment building doubles as a dormitory for Georgetown Law students. On any given Saturday, the lobby wreaks of a distillery as the students stumble in a drunken mess. Not to mention, you may be surprised by vomit in the elevator. The management's idea of resident appreciation is Hot Dogs and Pizza. The last time I checked, I pay more than 2500 per month in rent and this amount is more than enough to schedule a sophisticated event. Oh, I failed to mention, they cater to the LAW students who are a bunch of irresponsible and disrespectful animals.
2. LEASING ISSUES: I often wondered why people would want to live in the Sunroom, then one day as I stood in the elevator I heard the leasing agent tell the soon to be renter they could use the sunroom as a second bedroom and they could fit up to 3 people in a one bedroom apartment. It was also mentioned they recruit potential lessees at Georgetown Law and encourage them to live in the sunrooms.
3. RULES: Nearly none of the rules are enforced. People who live here pretty much have a run of the building and do whatever it is they want. Safety is a definite issue. At one point a homeless man was squatting in the stairwell and one in the bathroom of the fitness center.
4. FEES FOR USING THE CLUBROOM: The fees for renting the clubroom for special events is an absurd $150 per hour without any set up time. For example if you have an event that starts at 8:00-10:00pm, you have to set up and breakdown within that time.
5. NOISE NOISE NOISE NOISE. If you want to live in a quiet building, DO NOT LIVE HERE! The incessant noise throughout the night (2, 3, 4 even 5 am in the morning) is ridiculous and management does not care. They encourage residents and non residents to smoke right in front of the main entrance so you have to cover your mouth before entering the building. They are often noisy and cantankerous. If the smokers are not there to make your life miserable, then it is the alcoholics who throw used bottles and trash in front of the building.
6. The CLUBROOM: The students use the Clubroom as a study hall. When you want to entertain friends or use the pool table, you may be asked to keep the noise down because they are studying as if you are not a resident and do not pay rent to reside here.
I will leave it at that for now, but for the money this building is not worth the money at all.

This complex was top of my list for a new residence. The pictures I've viewed on-line, coupled with the location made it perfect for me. Not to mention the closeness to my perspective job, I was really excited about it. This review along with others has been truly helpful. Thanks, I will keep looking.

Yes. I would keep looking. When I first moved here there were senators and top notch professionals that provided for tons of networking, but now it is truly not worth the money. I am waiting to close which is why I have not moved yet.
