I think the Meridian has been a great place to live. My apartment faces Mass Ave, and I would recommend getting one that faced out to Mass Ave. The apts in the back face a worn-down building. Location is extremely convenient. Ameneties are adequate. Very clean building...no pest or rodent problem. There are many students that live in the building but that has never bothered me. My power bill is consistently low bc I keep the doors to the sunroom closed which help keep the apt warm. I do not get direct sunlight because of where the apt is but I do get light. The downside, and reason I am leaving, is it is sooo expensive. I pay $2300/month with parking and I just can't justify spending that much anymore. There is a homeless shelter across the street but I have never been approached by anyone for money. The area is being built up with stores and condos and I love it. Hate to leave.
