Mediocre at best

What everyone says about the leasing staff and office staff is 100% true. When you first move in, you won't feel this way. They do everything to make you feel like you're top priority while you set up your lease. Then they forget who you are. They are rude on the phone and in emails. There are some that are nice, but the turnover is so much that it barely matters.
The building itself is fine. The pool is great, gym is fine. Very close to metro and Chinatown, which is awesome. Up until YESTERDAY, the interior of the lobby looked like a parlor from the 1800s. It was hideous. They just changed that by putting in a mirror and taking away all the dead flowers.
The apartments are the worst part. At first, they look nice, especially when empty. Then you move in and realize that you are living in the cheapest apartment of all time. Now, I was told this too before moving in, but what did I care if my apartment looks a little cheap' I thought it'd be fine. But it is pretty bad. The toilet seats are crap and fall off the toilet. Everything in our kitchen has broken at least once. The kitchen itself is horrific. White plastic linoleum counters. You can't open the cabinet under the sink when the dishwasher is open. You can't open our drawers all the way because it is blocked by the oven, stove, or dishwasher. The kitchen was truly designed by the biggest idiot of all time. There is ZERO storage space in the kitchen, so look forward to leaving everything on the counter.
The bedrooms are large, which is a plus. Aside from the cheapness despite paying high rent, the worst part about this is the sunroom. While it's great that it can be used as a bedroom to lessen the rent, doing that ruins the apartment. The living room becomes dark and you need lamps even during the sunniest days. It feels like we live in a box. I am moving into an apartment with windows in the living room because I can't handle another year of feeling like a rat trapped in its cage.
You can also hear everything. Not just people talking in the hallway, but when someone is showering next door, the pipes bang loudly.
In sum, it's a fine place looking back, and if you're trying to save money then the sunrooms are great, but there are other options around here that are less rent but a lot nicer. Also, maybe the staff at the other buildings won't be totally incompetent and rude.
