I have not had any problems since moving into the Miramar. It's cheap, quiet and in a great location. When I have needed maintenance, the problem has been resolved within 24 hours.

The management has always been friendly and responsive. I have always treated them with respect and have received respect in return.

Certain things need to be taken into consideration before moving into the Miramar. First of all, it's not new construction. There will be problems associated with an 80 year old building. These are NOT fancy, newly remolded and decorated apartments. They are comfortable, safe and affordable apartments in a great location. Old buildings have mice and bugs even new buildings have mice and bugs. Be proactive like I was, seal up any holes you might see, don t leave food or dishes out and wipe off your counters. I have not had a bug or mice problem.

There is usually some type of construction, as the try to update and maintain the apartments. It occurs during the day and the building is usually pretty quiet by 6.

I have only heard of the one instance of any kind of criminal activity. This is a city, take precautions and use the chain lock on the door.

There are several washer and dryers, a nice little fitness center and a computer center.

Only street parking is available, but there are garages nearby that offer monthly rental.

I have paid a lot more for a lot less in this city. Lived in nice places in bad neighborhoods, this is a nice place in a great neighborhood. Only two things would make me leave the Miramar: leaving the city, or buying a home.
