Mount Vernon Plaza Apartments

Fair, nothing else. From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 3/23/2006 Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2006   I've lived here for nearly 4 years. Maintenance crew is excellent, sidewalks and interior are always kept immaculate. There has been some cosmetic upgrades, the lobby is okay, but the workout area has never been complete, the equipment has been broken and unusable for longer than I've been here. Lots of promises have been made but not kept. The business center is a nightmare. It is not a business center, it is a teenage hangout where kids use chat rooms AND talk on their mobiles. People under the age of 18 are not supposed to be in there unless accompanied by a parent, but they never are. There are 4 computers, and usually at least one of them is down. The printer/fax hasn't worked in dog years. Don't live here if you have a pet. They do allow cats, but the screens on the windows are not attached, and one tenant had his two cats fall 10 atories to their deaths because of the screens. Nothing was done to correct the situation.
