I am truly happy here at "The Gardens". I have had an attempted break in on my car...but as another person said...I live in DC...HELL-LOW!: that will happen!
I have had people over and they are completely surprised at how peaceful it is and just how nice the grounds look. The stoops, alleyways and porches are not conducive to loitering and it is actually discouraged to the point of eviction. So there are no thugs or thuglets hangin outside.
The bedrooms and overall square footage of the apartments are very spacious. ON top of that you get your own storage space for any seasonal items such as a bike or hiking equipment, etc...
Another great thing is that large pets are not allowed so you have no problem with pet smells or loud animals who are, unfairly, locked up at home all day.
The price is amazing and you are located near major arteries for commuting purposes.
This is a true gem and if you are looking for something with a great price tag attached to it...I would say you can't ask for anything better.
