I came across these reviews *after* signing my lease and got really scared but I've been happy enough here. I've not seen any critters in my apt or in the building, two maintenance requests were handled the same days as reported, there are two elevators and one is sometimes out but it's not horrible. I do not hear my neighbors at all (something important to me). It's a building from the early 1960s I guess and it shows it's wear. A complete renovation would be nice, but then again it would probably raise my rent by several hundred dollars.

The location is great and it seems priced right. I've seen other places in the neighborhood that are cheaper and not as nice and nicer places that are more expensive.
