I've lived in the Olypmia for 4 years now and overall, I've liked living there. But since this is a review, let me go over a couple of things:

There have been some issues in terms of the building manager (went from great, to awful, to ok but often absent) and wether they are actually available when you need them, but the main realty company always has someone you can call. Wether they actually respond promptly to your request/complaint is a whole different story.

There is only one elevator, it's the slowest in DC, and every couple of months goes on hiatus. But if you don't mind taking the stairs (and hopefully don't live on the top floor), you should be fine.

There are also some roach issues in some of the apartments. I know this because they recently sprayed the whole building but I don't think it helped very much. I have never seen mice though...

The other residents are pretty friendly and if you're not the social type, you can easily keep to yourself. There used to be a group of awful tenants earlier in the year but they have, thankfully, moved out.

Overall, I like the Olypmia and it beats the ridiculous rental rates that are now being demanded in Columbia Heights. I beleive it is still income restricted though, so you have to be making within a certain income brakcet to initially get into the building.
