I have lived here for a year (my lease is soon up and I am so happy about it!). The managers are terrible.

When I moved in I specifically asked if there was a bug problem. I told the girl that was my number 1 concern. She looked me square in the eye and said, "Oh of course not!" What a total lie. I began seeing roaches as soon as I moved in.

I live in a top floor so I have never seen the rats -- but I sure as hell smell them decaying in the walls. And I agree with the commenter about the gym. I have to hold my breath to go to the basement gym and laundry room.

This place is disgusting! I have cried over fustrations with the management.

Just last week the managment called me to say I was missing my rent. I keep track of all my bills and I knew I did not miss my rent, but they insisted I pay them for a months rent. They were trying to rip me off! I got my bank to fax over my bank statements that proved I had paid rent - every month - for the year. Ugh, this place is a terrible experience!

Sadly, the rudeness and incompetence are very true indeed. Many people have had their payments recorded incorrectly and then find eviction notices on their doors for no reason! Several upset calls to your bank later, you figure out the problem, and viola! You have done their job for them in getting their books straight. Just be darn sure you have good documentation at all times. Also, if anything goes wrong in your place, don't hold your breath waiting for them to repair it. The place is under constant renovation to get empty units fixed up for new tenants, but once you sign that lease you can forget about them having anything to do with you. I have to say thanks to all the people who are putting up true stories about this place. These guys are trouble, and people should know about their consistently bad behavior. My condolences over your being upset to the point of crying. I completely hear where you are coming from. And to other potential renters out there, you don't want to be next!

UPDATE: I finally moved out. The coustomer service is extremely fustrating! I sent in my notice well before 30 days and yet management repeatedly asked me for my "notice otherwise you are breaking your lease". I can't tell if they are unorganized or just don't care. Glad I am finally away from this place!
