Great Apartment & Great Staff

I have been living at the Park Monroe for almost a year and it is really great. The apartments are reasonably priced, my 9th floor view is amazing and the staff is incredibly friendly and responsive. We have a building holiday party where you get to meet everyone and in the meantime people are generally very friendly, courteous and quiet. They also have great deals for students including reduced 1st month rent.
Also our neighborhood is great. As a new yorker it is the most brooklyn-y place I could find and I love it. Also the 42, s1, s2 and s4 buses all pass by or terminate right near the building - so it is easy to get just about anywhere in the city. The columbia heights metro is close as well.
You are also close to rock creek park and a 12 minute walk to adams morgan. 20 minutes on the 42 to dupont circle, or even shorter on the "s" buses to P-street.
As a woman I have never had a safety problem. The guards are at the desk when you come in. They remember you, they remember your friends and they look out for you.
I am personally not a "building" person and prefer brownstones in general but the Park Monroe is a great place to live. I cannot think of anything at all negative to say about it.
