Cockroaches!

Management says that I am the only one with a cockroach problem, but there were several cockroaches in my apartment when I moved in back in August. The problem did not go away, despite regular visits from the exterminator. I see an average of 1-3 cockroaches per day. After 6 months of complaints, the management finally fogged my apartment to no avail. I have been asking to switch apartments for over two months and was completely brushed off. They tell me that, because I am the only one with a problem, they don't know what to do, as if this somehow lessens their responsibility to give me the cockroach-free apartment promised in my lease.

I've lived in the Park Monroe for 3 years and have only seen 1 roach!! I'm not sure what the problem is?? That's really strange! Can I ask what floor you live on?

Can you tell us what floor you live on? I'm considering an apt at the Park Monroe and your input would be really valuable. A friend of mine lives there and has not had a problem with them, though did see a gross roach right outside of the elevator on the first floor this weekend.

I live here and I've never seen roaches, vermin, mice, or anything. That's really weird that one apartment has roaches. I'm sorry that's happening to you.
