Parkway Apartments

Great building with some minor hang-ups From: brussels05 Date posted: 8/16/2007 Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2007   First of all, the building is very charming. It's in a great, safe location with everything you could ever want at your doorstep. There's a movie theater, post office, CVS, several grocery store options (including a farmer's market and organic grocery), metro convenience, etc... I lived on the 5th floor and never had any problems with pests of any kind. Also, with utilities included, I was free to turn up the a/c in the summer. The rooms are small, but cozy. I enjoyed the hardwood floors and large walk-in closet. The bathrooms could have been larger. My only real complaint with my room is that some of the plaster in the walk-in closet was coming off and that made for quite a mess. I'm moving for more space, but I will definitely miss the good view, the convenience and the all inclusive utilities. Negatives: people steal clothing from the laundry room; not much management can do about that, but it was very annoying. Also, it takes a few calls to get something fixed and I did have an issue with one of my packages being delivered to the wrong apartment. Overall, however, I strongly recommend Parkway Apartments.
