Good neighborhood, horrible apartments

We have lived here for quite some time now, and I must say that these are the worst apartments that I've ever lived in. They only allow ONE telephone outlet, which means ONE telephone. Thank God our cordless worked in power outages!! They charge you $220 for an air conditioning unit, and in the winter time, you just roast, b/c you can't adjust the heat. We are sanitary people, but that didn't stop the mice/rat infestation!! At first we were noticing small droppings here and there (the STOVE, the COUNTER TOP). Then, we actually saw a few running across the floor in the living room and in our bedroom. We have called management so many times that they probably know us by name, but of course they haven't done anything about it. We came home one day to a broken bedroom window, which of course we didn't do, but the complex charged us to fix it. The smoke detector goes off every time you bake in the oven, but when the guy upstairs smokes CIGARETTES, it never goes off!! Speaking of the oven and fridge are sooo small, it looks like it belongs in a Barbie house!! The walls are paper thin, and you can actually hear conversations. It is very small (you can see the back window from the front door, and it is CERTAINLY not worth the amount paid in rent.
