A BIG NO

The first time I walked into the place, I was treated like crap by the management. At the time, I had just graduated from law school and I was just moving to DC. I was looking for a decent apartment building in the NW area, but I was not willing to pay an outrageous rent for a studio. Upon hearing that, the management rudely told me: "come back after you win the lottery". I am glad I didn't move there, because there are tons of apartment buildings in NW, as nice or better than Post Massachussets and a lot cheaper, in even better locations.

I have lived here for 3 years and the staff has been nothing but friendly and helpful. I could be wrong, but I highly doubt that what you are saying actually happened. Are you just saying that because maybe you couldn't afford it to begin with? Just a guess...

I doubt that this really happened. That person would have been fired for saying that.
