I'm finishing out my year at Post Mass Ave. with nothing but positive experiences.

Pros' Of course, location. Personally, I've found the staff amazing - from the management, to the concierge, to the maintainance staff. Repairs have ALWAYS been same-day (and done correctly). Pool, gym, free breakfast M-F, gorgeous rooftop deck - all first rate. I've had guests use my place when I'm away on business - all have been VERY impressed. HUGE bathroom, and lots of closet space, plus a washer/dryer IN my studio.

Cons' Yes, rent is high. As said in other reviews, you get what you pay for. I live in a studio (small compared to other DC studios) but considering I work long hours and go out many nights and weekends, the location could not be more ideal. (I never feel like I NEED more space).

In defense of the high rent: My bills (other than rent) are extremely low. Pluls, I spend less on groceries (breakfast provided) and do not require a gym membership.

(To touch on a previous review - hallways were repainted in January 2007).

For convenient city-living, I consider the Post well woth the cost. Am moving out of state at the end of the lease (NOT leaving due to dis-satisfaction).

LMAO this sounds like the manager again. The place has gone down hill with the new manager and new maintenance engineer. When Wendy and jay were here it was nice now that my lease is ending thank god. I am out of here. It has really gone down hill. This manager talks about people and the maintenance work is never right or just rude.
