I have lived at Post for almost 3 years and have found it a good place to live. BUT that is because my work paid for my rent. I culd not afford to pay the rent they charge otherwise! It is a lovely apt complex with great amenities and the staff have always been friendly and prompt in addressing concerns. But the amount of rent they charge is astronomical and for those prices the carpet should be better quality in the units and some of the other finishes are not great and parking costs a bomb. Its very hard to find parking on the street in this area but at $200/month for a parking space we had to do it - a minor but almost daily frustration.
One issue we have had is noise from Mass Ave. We live in a unit on the corner above the tunnel on Mass Ave (that goes under Thomas Circle) and when fire/ambulance/police vehicles come through there with their sirens its so loud we have to pause the tv!
But other than issue of value for money, we have really enjoyed living there and would have stayed if we could have afforded to rent there ourselves.
