PROS
-You can't beat the proximity of this place to the GWU campus and the rents are fairly reasonable by DC standards.
-The large efficiency is a perfect size for one person. I could fit a queen size bed, couch, dining set, desk, and bookshelves with room to spare. The walk in closet is also quite a plus.
CONS
-There are lots of college kids living in here and many of them tend to treat the building like a frat house (e.g. late parties, marijuana smell in the halls).
-I had problems with cockroaches when I first moved in but the building sent an exterminator and the problem hasn't returned.
-I have a recurrent mold issue due to rotting dry wall inside the walls that will only be fixed if the management decides to redo the water pipes.
-The appliances are circa 1970.
-The management office staff are either incompetent (e.g. unable to answer simple questions) or downright mean but interaction with them is limited to complaints about the sub-par accomodations.
