Beautiful building, bad maintenance, falling apart,

I was intitially impressed with the building's art deco style and friendly staff. My apartment was beautiful however it could of been a death trap. First I had two gas leaks that were not fixed the first time after complaining to maintenance repeatedly with no resolve. The building manager (Steve Philbin) initially said that it was the smell of the glue and laquer from the wood floors that were resurfaced which was BS. The gas smell made me sick. After threatening them with legal recourse they finally replaced the stove. There hot water and heat at least two days a month. The apartment painted over alot of the leaks, etc that should of been replaced before my occupancy. I also had problems with the plumbing, and flooding from the next door apartment.
The new property manager Heather was a pleasant improvement over Mr. Philbin however the building requires major repairs especially to their boilers and appliances.
