Terrible building

Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2004
I lived in Skyline Towers in 2003 and 2004. It was the worst apartment I've ever resided in. As one poster pointed out, I'm fairly certain the positive reviews listed here are confusing the 2730 Wisconsin Ave NW Skyline Towers (a veritable dump) with the Alexandria one (supposedly quite nice).
I'll be brief. Here were the biggest problems: mice, rats, cockroaches (LOTS), entry by shady staff w/o warning, constant power outages (only in some apts though), kept our security deposit (they do this to everyone apparently), unwarranted late fees and random FedEx fees (with no explanation), lobby manager left in March 2004 and was never replaced in spite of promises to the contrary. I could go on...
Suffice it to say that I have lived in many college dorms that had 10 times the standard of living of Skyline Towers. Management may have changed though (it was Nick Pitsch and Mike Louaiza of Gelman Management at that time).
