When JBG used to manage this building, everything was great. Equity bought the building in early 2007, and it has been a complete nightmare ever since. The staff is impolite, and not at all helpful. I loved my apt and my bldg before Equity came in. They charge bogus fees, and the Property Manager is a recent college graduate, and this is his first job! He is rude and disrespectful, and does not have the authority to make any kind of decisions, but refuses to provide the contact info for the Regional Manager. I am in the process of filing a housing complaint with the DC Housing Board because I feel so strongly about it. DON'T LIVE IN AN EQUITY RESIDENTIAL BUILDING!!!!

I live in the building as well and have similar feelings about Equity and the property manager, though it's not worth moving out over -- really nice building and great location, if a little pricey.
