I have lived in this apartment complex far too long (6 years). Just so happened I became pregnant with my second child shortly after moving in, and it's been a mess every since. Because of the cost and care of a new addition to the family, it became difficult to move, but I'm in the process of buying a new home, and I can't wait to move out of this place.

1. no security (my alarm system hasn't worked properly since I moved in)
2. Loud and unruly young children who stay outsid late into the nights, summertime is the worst (lord knows where there parent(s)is).
3. Parking sucks, but management is quick to have your car towed.
4. No one has any regard for their neighbor. People blowing car horns @ 5 0'clock in the mornings, car alarms constantly going off.
6. The buzzer connecting my apartment to the front door never worked.
7. The building doors are always tampered with.
8. And let's not forget that a package was stolen from in front of my door that was delivered by UPS (UPS' fault as well).

WORST OF ALL.....$OVER 1000 A MONTH FOR A TWO BEDROOM/TWO BATHROOM''!!...now what kind of crap is that'''

I do like the dishwasher, central air, and washer/dryer in my unit. That's about it.

Maybe you should call the Department of Community and Regulatory Affairs and report Manager or the Housing Authority on North Capitol Street. Just because people who live there are Section 8 don't mean that they have to act so Ghetto. A lot of people have never had anything nice so, they don't know how to act and take care of really nice thing. Why would you damage the place where you have to live. I have been through the same thing too in another apartment community. Move out 3 years and brought a home. Thank GOD. Never want to live in an apartment again.
