The apartments in this community are nice, considering the fact that it is located in S.E. DC or DC period for that matter. I have seen quite a bit of drama from this community. I have had my kitchen window shot out partially from gunfire, my car (a 2004 model)dented and the paint removed by a driver that apparently couldn't park or unpark in their too small parking space. I have awoken to the police taping up a crime scene after someone was shot near the trash can area and this is all within three years. I love my apartment, but the neighborhood and the people in it are a total turn off. I do thank this community for allowing me to live the "life of luxury" at a decent price until I move into a house in the suburbs where the only noise that I will hear is crickets and birds chirping instead of cussing and football plays. If your patience will allow you to deal with these issues until you can move onto something better than by all means make Stanton Glenn your "home".

Why the suburbs? Prince Georges County isn't all that great. All parts of DC aren't that bad. What about upper NW. The houses in SE DC like Capitol Hill are very nice. May be a little pricey but you pay for what you get.

NOTE: The keyword was SUBURBS. I did not specify that PG county was the suburbs. Anyone with an ounce of sense knows that PG county is no where near being suburbia unless you are in the back woods somewhere. I will agree that all parts of DC are not bad. Why, because I have lived in every part of DC except SW. Thanks for trying to school me, but I have lived long enough to know when a community is just wrong. Needless to say, Stanton Glenn put a bad taste in my mouth indefinitely.
