I lived in this place for a year and then moved out. This was a few years ago when the area was "transitioning." The guy in the hall across from me was either a drug addict or an alcoholic and set his apartment on fire once. It was incredibly loud, and I was able to hear the woman next door having sex, as well as the people above and below me. And the fire engines were incredibly loud, as were the drunk people outside coming back home.

The worst, though' That would be the roaches. I doubt they have gotten rid of them in such a huge building. The problem' No MANDATORY spraying. When I moved in, they had clearly sprayed, as there were some dead roaches on the floor, but after that, they only sprayed when I asked them to. The problem is, the dude on the 2nd floor who doesn't care that he has roaches - well, when he never gets sprayed, the roaches go everywhere. I became an expert at killing roaches. And I was clean - used bleach, never left a dirty dish in the sink, etc.

Positives: the management was good. They always came up to fix my problems when I needed them. The location was convenient. The size and price were pretty good.
