Don't live here!

My bathroom flooded consistently for six months, causing mildew and mold to grow on the walls (not to mention what was in them). The management staff (after the growing health concern) moved me to a new apartment - rats run through the crawl space above the ceiling in the new apartment, the appliances are old, the apartment has a dank musty smell, and the shower head shrieks as water comes out. The building's "movers" (the maintenance staff) ripped my mattress as they dragged it from the 8th floor to the 3rd floor through the stairway. The "new" policies for moving any furniture in and out of the building (mattress delivery or even one box!!!) are ridiculous (only between 8:30AM and 5:30PM from Monday-Saturday, no holidays, written notice one week in advance). You can no longer park for a minute in front of the building (not even food delivery); the security officers will call the police. The building manager Paula Covington is VERY rude and will do anything to make your life difficult - because she's the manager. DO NOT LIVE AT THE CHASTLETON! It's not worth it, not even for the location.
