Managment leaves a lot to be desired.

I moved out of the Chastleton a few months back, after being there over one year.
I do not know who wrote some of the positive reviews of the management, but they seem self-serving to me. Based on my experience and observation, Paula Covington (who was the new building manager before I left) is extremely rude, not supportive of tenants, and deceptive. The assistant building manager also tried to nickle-and-dime me on my security deposit.
As for repairs, as some earlier reviews said, it takes awhile for things to get done. And, that is only after constant badgering.
People also should not be deceived when they look in the units. While the carpeting is nice and things appear to be in working order, the appliances are old and lame. My bathroom sink was so uneven that you could not place items on it without them falling over.
On the plus site, the location is terrific, the rent is reasonable, and the building as a whole is kept clean (no bugs). The central heat/air also worked very well. gkZ41df9CgXQPfm8K2A7
