Clean, safe place to live

Just moved out of the Kenmore a few days ago, simply because I'm sick of paying inflated DC real estate prices. However, compared to most other places in NW (the nice areas, that is...think red line, not green line), it's a pretty good deal. The other drawback is that it's either a 15 minute walk to the metro (Friendship Heights station), or else you have to catch a bus to the Van Ness station.
In my entire 15 months living there, I killed maybe 1 roach and 1 spider, and that's all I ever saw. The management, leasing agents, and front desk people are very helpful and responsive. Although the lobby isn't something special to look at, that's probably one of the reasons the rent prices are a bit cheaper. Most of the people living in the building are post-college professionals, some students, and elderly.
