Good for the price and location

This is definitely an older building and not a luxury condo, but the benefit is that the rent is cheaper and the building feels more solid. I never heard my neighbors, which was amazing. Check which way your apartment faces - the courtyard is quiet but it doesn't get a lot of sun. The A/C when I was there was an old window unit but it served its purpose. Management was very responsive and the front desk was nice. I had a problem with the kitchen when I first moved in, but as soon as I wrote a letter to the head office they quickly fixed everything for me. I did get the feeling that the management was not out to screw the renters they way that a lot of other companies seem to be in DC. I adored the neighborhood so that was a major plus for me.
