Welcome to the ghetto

Basically the place is beyond ghetto! The people...the management...the people. They try and charge you an arm and a leg for rent to live amoungst the riff-raff. The elevators in the tower NEVER EVER work, and in a seven story building. When you come home you have to jump over loud, obnoxious...just un-ruley kids playing in any spot that is available, be it in the hallway, the stairs, on top of your car.
Then you have to get past security who make you show ID EVERYTIME YOU COME HOME like this is the f&%*$%)%# FBI. Ghetto security needs something to do while they eat their carry out at their desk.
If there was a fire in the building everyone would die (God forbid) because the fire alarms go off all the time FOR NO REASON, to the point where no one pays attention to them anymore. We know the firefighters by name...at least you know that they will come.
Don't have the money to buy weed...doesn't matter here! Because you will catch enough contact in the hallway walking to your apt to keep you boosted for the rest of the week.
You can't get any sleep at night because (1) you are too high from contact, (2) the fire alarm that went off 3 hours ago is still ringing in your ear, (3) your ghetto-fied neighbors, and their ghetto-fied children, are yelling at each other because their electricity is off and no one has the money to pay for it, (4) you are worried about your car being smashed in two because there is always the occassional hit and run on the neighborhood (5) and don't forget the constant gunfire down the street that leaves you in a permanent state of paranoia. (6) for the fifth time this month the heater broke down, and once again it takes a week for maintenance to acknowledge that you even called, then once they do arrive to fix it, there is always that elusive part that takes a week to arrive because it is being sent on horseback from a tiny shop in Taiwan...
Lest me not forget old women, that live in the building, coming up to you asking you for money for "their prescription"...
I could go on and on...
All this for a low price of $1200 a month....I got in when the price was lower but its expensive to live in the ghetto these days.
