The pros: its cheap, there's a store in the building, there's a pool, maintenance people are quick to fix anything in your apartment, utilities are included...umm, that's about it
The cons: parking can be a problem unless you pay for a spot, since utilities are included your apartment never gets cool enough during the summer, neighbors tend to BLAST salsa music all evening (many times the same song over and over and over to make it extra annoying), the kitchens are old, small and not pleasant to look at, the bathrooms are small, many of the w/d do not work due to people misusing them, there's often trash in the hallways/stairwells/elevators (which has been a constant embarrassment when I've had guests), there are spiders (I find those daddy long leggers quite often) and worst of all...ROACHES. If you like roaches you'll love the Woodner.
The harassment: if you are a female you can't leave your apartment w/o a ridiculous amount of comments (in english and spanish) said to you from guys that live there and this is an everyday all-day occurrence, also if you are female BEWARE of the man working in the barborshop downstairs...he has serious stalking tendencies (he has repeatedly followed me to my apartment making disgusting comments) and to be honest even the security at the woodner will hit on you
