I'm a single, white, blonde woman living in the Woodner since April - and have overall found it to be a positive experience. I've walked back alone at night and never had a problem. Yes, I've had a few (small) roaches which is kind of gross, but I put out roach hotels and the problem has decreased significantly...and where in DC are you not going to have roaches'
