I've lived in the Woodner for three years and I really like it. The building is righton a major bus route and just a short walk from the Metro; they run a shuttle to the Red Line every morning/evening; the pool is nice in the Summer... and I have one of the best views in the city. I'm on the back of the building, facing the Rock Creek Park. It is quiet, comfortable and convenient.

Yeah, the grocery is overpriced, but not outrageous. The video store doesn't always have new releases but they are reasonably priced. The dry cleaners is excellent and they accept packages for residents.

Nothing is perfect of course. There are bugs... but that just means you have to keep the kitchen clean. The units are old but I've never had an issue with a repair request. We got new windows this year and they are currently working to replace all of the elevators.
