I moved into the Woodner after living for 13 years in NYC. My experience with city apartment living is that roaches are a given and it also depnds on who your neighbors are.

For a huge apartment building, it's pretty good and I love the diversity of all the folks that live here.

The only real complaint that I have is that it's more suburban than city.

DC law allows rent increases twice a year and thank goodness there is some rent control in the district.
