I lived in the Woodner for one year and it was the worst experience of my life. The building has a bed bug problem and you will need your apartment exterminated monthly to eliminate it. Still the exterminator cannot guarantee the problem will not reoccur.I woke up with welts on my body and continue to have an uneasiness I cannot shake.

Over the Presidential weekend holiday, police discovered a dead body in the building. Police suspect fowl play and say the victim has been dead for several days.

I would not recommend this building to anyone. You can't put a price on peace of mind and you certainly won't have peace here.

Bugs, mice and roaches are nothing compared to the nastiness of some in the leasing office. Doesn't management train their personnel in good, if not excellent, customer service? It was shocking to see the leasing consultant treat a prospective tenant in such haughty, overbearing and disrespectful manner. What an advertisement for the Woodner Company!

I notice the building reeks of crack sometimes..If your wondering why I know what crack smells like people used to and probably still do smoke it on the streets of my old neighborhood.

I,M A SECURITY GUARD THAT WORKS IN THE WOODNER, AND FOR MR JONES THE DIRECTOR OF OPERATION WHO ALMOST EVERY THING IN THE BUILDING, NEED TO KEEP HIS HAND OUT OF THE SECURITY BUSINESS BECUSE HE DOES NOT KNOW WHAT THE HELL HE IS DOING, YOU CAN NOT RUN SOMETHING IF YOU DO NOT KNOW WHOW TO DO IT, YOU CAN NOT MOVE POLICE IN TO THE BUILDING AND TRY TO GET THEM TO WORK IT, WITH GANG MEMBERS IN IT. IT JIPERDIES THEIR FAMILY AND THEIR LIVES AS WELL DUMB ASS. IF YOU THINK YOU CAN HAVE TWO GUARDS RUNING THAT BIG ASS BUILDING YOU DUMB ---- YOU PUT THEIR LIVES AT RISK AS WELL, LEAVE THE SECURITY TO THE ------- PEOPLE THAT CAN GET THE JOB RIGHT.

Fowl play? I'm definitely not moving here. Wouldn't want to be beaten to death by a gang of chickens...

OMG!!! I was thinking the same thing when I read "fowl play"... BIRDS?? CHICKENS?? GEESE?? DUCKS??!! Well, since it appears that there is no where decent left in DC to lease or rent at least I can get comic relief from the apartment reviews! FYI... Want a good laugh?? Read some of the reviews from The Heights/Brookland Ridge... Apparently, they have true "fowl play"! LOL!!
