Just heard tonight on NBC4 that a woman was murdered on the 11th floor of the Woodner a day or so ago.

Remind me not to even consider this place.

There was a murder or two when I lived there, also. The management did a great job of keeping them covered up. I was home one week day and heard what I was SUrE was a gunshot, and I had to go through half a dozen people before one, a cop and not a Woodner employee, would confirm that somebody had been shot. Never saw a word of it in the newspaper or elsewhere.

I didn't think anything could possibly be worse than the pervasive bed bug investations in this building, but murdered tenants definitely qualifies. How many is that now in this past two years? This place needs to be condemned.

Folks- this building is the size of a town and just like anywhere else unfortunatly bad things happen. There is NOWHERE that I know of that has no crime. The Woodner is not a bad place to live-- not perfect but not bad.
