Spotless building, best DARO property by far From: susancd Date posted: 10/14/2006 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006   I've lived in Tilden Hall almost 2 yrs and have never had a serious maintenance issue. The minor things I have reported have been fixed immediately. The building is also IMMACULATE. The lobby and floors shine and apartments are totally redone every time a tenant moves out. This is because the staff here really takes pride in their work (although this is not the case at other DARO buildings I've seen). As for the water being turned off, they did that to upgrade the steam heating system, which works GREAT. Water was only off during the part of the day when most people are at work, and they gave us LOTS of advance notice. The rent is very reasonable, utilities are included, and the neighbors are quiet. What's not to like' I live on the back side of the building, so even Connecticut Ave. isn't an issue except for an occasional siren (this IS a city, after all).
