I have been living at the Tivoli Gardens for few months now and I have been happy. I have a huge studio with all new interiors and most importantly for 1000! Everywhere else in the area rents effs for 1200 so this was perfect! All my friends compliments the size of my apartment ..esp the closets. Security is not an issue, there is a 24hr security guard who walks around the buildings the entire night! About the bedbugs, I haven't seen any so far..saw a couple roaches here and there but nothing major to complain. If you are want to live in the city with a reasonable $$ then you won't regret it. But DO NOT look for luxury here!!! Oh and one thing to complain about the area is the parking situation.

Since the apartment is located in a residential area (not on the main 14th st), parking is so annoying. you ll be driving around for hrs to find a decent parking. So leave your car somewhere before moving here!
