I lived here for more than 3 years now and it never looked nice or attractive to begin with. I took an apartment there just because the price is right and the location is very convenient to metro.

Management and service was horrible because landlord was getting ready to demolish buildings and after I moved in, he stopped renting. The neighborhood is not very safe and there is a large public housing concentration across the street from us that is riddled with drug activity and sometimes shooting. The buildings now are more than half empty.

The tenants exercised their right of first refusal and got a developer to buy the buildings on their behalf and will hopefully soon convert the property to condos. But there are still problems with the city who owns the land and is giving us a hard time in selling it to us. But we are hopeful.

With the new management, service improved, but the property is still as ugly and unattractive because they will not do any improvement until the land is sold to them. We hope this will happen so we can start exntensive renovation and revitalization and make the property very nice and beautiful.

There is still a chance it will remain as rental with some moderate renovations.

In any case, when it opens again for rental, it would be a decent place to live in. Till that time, no one can rent yet. Check us out in 2006! odusyNYCcZ7yL3Bj5JtG
