Nice place--but not good value for what they're charging

Have been living in this complex for many years. In typical Charles E Smith style, each year they try to raise the rent at least $100--very aggressive, and not at all in line with the rest of the market in this neighborhood. The apartments are quite nice and fairly well maintained, but the common areas are dingy, there is zero front entrance security as people leave the doors open, and the management doesn't seem attuned to the needs of tenants. If you move here, expect to pay above market, and for your rent to go up a lot each year. Plus $125 for parking. Might as well live on the metro--you'll pay the same.
