When I started looking for an apartment, I knew I had a limited budget but I still wanted something nice. After visiting Twin Oaks once, I pretty much stopped looking. I now have a cute studio with hardwood floors, ample closet space, high ceilings and a decent sized kitchen. The office staff are friendly and there when you need them. Maintenance is pretty responsive. One of my favorite features is the well-lit laundry room downstairs. It's also an elevator building, which is great.
The building is walking distance from Target and other shopping and dining. Right next door are different bars (including the increasingly popular, Red Derby) and little mom and pop stores.
Extremely metro accessible.
