We have rented a junior one bedroom unit for nearly two years now and we absolutely love it here. It is a condo building, so your landlord experience will vary (ours is a little quirky). But, the building staff is wonderful. They are helpful and friendly. The new plaza and lobby are beautiful and very convenient. Also, the building has access to two pools, an older one in the back and a newer one in the front that gets more sun (but also gets very crowded on the weekends). The building has lots of older residents, so it is very quiet, but you would probably get more complaints if you had loud parties. Also, the older residents tend to do their laundry early in the morning, so it's usually empty in the evenings and on the weekends. The laundry room is always clean and in working order. We have only seen the occasional small spider in our apartment, never any real bugs or rodents. Metro & the L bus line are less than a five minute walk away, and you can access the grocery store through the parking garages without ever having to go outside, excellent in the rain or winter. If you can find a unit to rent here, we highly recommend it!
