We live here with our newborn baby daughter, and believe me it is a sh"t hole. There is constant construction noise all day long, and a mouse made a hole through our wall. We can't catch it, and worry about disease. The maintnence and the front desk ladies are very nice though, and the building is multi-cultural which is nice. Management is really rude. Also beware of the mean old lady from the tenents association who dresses like a 13-year-old but is obviously about 90. Freaks me out.

I disagree with this person. The building is falling apart, but if it wasn't for the Tenents Association things would be much worse. Karen isn't 90 nor does she dress like a 13 year old. If it wasn't for her standing up to Archstone, nobody else would!

I agree with the original poster. The building IS falling apart, and the tenants association does nothing. The so-called president of the association (I don't even know her name, but she does look ANCIENT) is unapproachable, and in all the years I've lived here I haven't seen an election for "board members" of the tenants association -- yet these people walk around like they own the place.
