I have lived at Van Ness now for 2 years because it is close to my school. Unfortunatley, I have had to deal with maintenance issues not being resolved in a timely fashion until this past month. I have noticed an improvment in service from the office to the service team. It is great to actually see them taking pride in their jobs and actually caring about the residents needs.

That is odd - we have been here two years also, and have always been extremely impressed with the responsiveness of maintenance. They are typically there first thing the next morning. The only time that has not been the case is when they chipped all kinds of paint putting in the new windows (which make the place so much quieter and energy efficient - and look nicer). I am hoping they will do all the paint repair at once when the windows are all in. My only complaint remains the awful elevators - I am truly embarrased to have people come visit with them being so torn up.
