There is nothing manorable about this place. The managment is horrible. They promise to submit request to repair things and they never do. When I first moved in here, the only good thing I had here was the fact that there were no roaches. Well now after living here for 1 year and 1/2, and after two evictions, the roaches owners have moved so now they have been looking to move in with me and the rest of my neighbors. I have told them about the roaches, they keep saying they are going to come and externminate and never come. Its always, "We've added your name to the book for the exterminator, I dont know why they haven't showed up yet." Whatever lies, lies, lies I tell you. My security door isn't securing a damn thing. Its always broke, and the telecom buzzer outside the building does not buzz any of your guest in. Everytime it rains, or snows, there is a puddle of water about 1 ft deep in front of the building when you are walking in, so I hope you own a pair of fly fishing thigh high boots. There are people sleeping in the hallways. Managment is a joke. They lie like a rug. They pull the bait and switch move. When you move in, and also in the ad it says all utilities included, and then halfwaay through your lease you have to start paying electric. William C. Smith and whoever else is managing this place needs to have their heads examined. There is no central air conditioning, there is no dishwashers, or garbage disposals, and the rent for a two bedroom, is 825.00 for what, roaches broken security door and living in you own live movie the people under the stairs, and my closet is outside of my bedroom. Low water pressure. Can never get a decent shower. I always feel dirty still after a shower. The water pressure is so low that you run the water for 1/2 hr to get it hot, and run water for 1 1/2 hour to get the tub almos under half way full' Please, I can't wait to move.

I agree with anonymous. They just recently installed meters on many of the buildings but mine does not have a meter yet. As far as the repairs that is true and the water pressure too. However, I don't have to run water for a 1/2 hour to get warm water. Yes the roaches are bad and my God, the mice!!! These ghetto mice are too smart for the glue traps. Luckily I'm moving next month. Our door stays broken but only on weekends for the drug addicts and drunks. During the summers, these fools hang outside and smoke weed, set beer cans on your window seal if you live on the 1st floor, and just make all kinds of noise. Typical ghetto!! Save your money and run!!!

I HAVE LIVED AROUND HERE FOR FIVE YEARS NOW AND IT HAS IT'S UPS AND DOWNS. PPL ALWAYS ON THE FRONT IN THE SUMMER COOKING OUT UNDER YOUR WINDOW. MAINTAINANCE IS SLOW AND THEY ACT LIKE YOU BOTHERING THEM. I HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH ROACHES OR MICE THANK GOD FOR THAT.

My grandmother lives here and I was staying with her for about 2 months. Let me tell you, I've had roaches and other bugs crawl over me, I found dead mice behind her sofa, and live ones running ahead of me tyring to beat me to the kitchen, kitchen cabinet doors hang open, the bathroom is nasty-inside of the medicine cabinet door is naaassstty, there's built up caulk around the shower head and tub, and have you checked out the radiator and how filthy it is in between? I love my grandmother dearly but, I could not stay any longer than the 2 months. She wanted me to stay longer but, I just couldn't. I want her to move out but, she signed another years lease so, she's stuck for now. For anyone who's looking to move into Manor Village, please don't. William C. Smith has some very good properties so, just look on the website before settling on Manor Village.

This person is 100% correct! I used to work around there and its not a pretty site. No one in management cares about the residents, trust and believe me, that place is just a job to them. DO NOT MOVE HERE, UNLESS YOU LIKE TO WATCH FIGHTS IN THE SUMMER, GET YOUR CAR BROKEN INTO AND HAVE READY-MADE PETS WAITING ON YOU, FURRY ONES AND THOSE OF THE INSECT FAMILY....TRUST!

i totally agree with everyone. in 2006 i moved there. not even a week my house was broken into. someone through a big rock thru my window and broke into my daughters room and stole of of my electronics.I cried so hard that day. luckily we were not home we were like 5 minutes away. we never got anything reimbursed from the property or not even an apology. the most f*cked up thing is the property managers knew they were setting me up. then about 3 months after that, my car was vandalized beyond repair i dont even drive nomore. the mice are out of control. i remember mice would eat my food literally. unopened chip bags, candy bars, and anything else the mice wanted, he got. he would just bite through the bag and eat your ----. now to make matters worse, they are suing me talking about i owe them a month of rent. when i showed them a reciept proving i dont owe them ----, i never heard anything else about it. I do know it is still on my credit report, which is very f*cked up. they smoke weed in the hallways, you have to walk through a thousand people to get to your front door, then the people who are blocking the path wont even move... just trifling!! in the wintertime they be so loud in the hallways you cant get any sleep, til like 4:30am when everybody decides to go home. I've went to work plenty of times cranky because of the lack of sleep the night before. and to think i was very pregnant going through all of this unneccesary ----, when i had my baby they almost took him away from me beacuse of the weed smoke that was in my system. i couldn't even take my baby home with me from the hospital. I was 6 months pregnant when the f*cked my car up... the little youngin' told me he was drunk and didnt remember vandalizing my car... bullsh*t!! what's even bigger bullsh*t the rental office know who this lil *igga is and aint do ----. william c smith is bullsh*t he need to fix up his raggedy as* apartments.there is no way you should go through all of this ----.
