I enjoyed living here

I lived in a studio apartment in the Walter Reed apartments for for about 3 years 2000-2003. The building was clean, all utilities are included, and the staff were all pretty friendly. Victor, the rental guy was cool, and Mr. Allen and Reggie, the staff that take care of the place were always very responsive and helpful. There was no insect or rodent problem, which is a miracle for DC! My place was completely free of pests for the entire time I lived there. They sprayed regularly. If you can get a corner studio unit, it's almost as a big as a one bedroom, but cheaper. Two cons to living to this place: 1. At times, there were some people hanging around outside of the building next door (around 2 or 3 people), which was irritating. 2. Don't live on the first floor, the side doors slam and are too noisy to be comfortable on that floor. Other than that, the place was very decent. It's a 10 minute walk to the takoma metro and the 70 bus is 1/2 block away. You can walk to downtown silver spring in 15 minutes.
